Pore/Framework Structure：The acid center of ZSM-50 zeolite is mainly weak acid, containing a small amount of medium to strong acid. The skeleton structure of this zeolite includes a 10 membered ring straight pore along the [100] direction and a 12 membered ring side pocket structure with a depth of 0.8 nm and a diameter extending towards the [001] direction. The specific surface area of ZSM-50 zeolite is 420~480m2/g。 The pore volume is 0.17-0.21ml/g, and the pore size is 0.83-0.85nm.

Applications: ZSM-50 has broad development prospects in selective catalysis. Elliptical pores only allow straight chain alkanes to enter the zeolite and undergo isomerization reaction under the catalysis of acidic centers, which can effectively improve the selectivity of gasoline hydroisomerization reaction. One-dimensional pores are conducive to the rapid diffusion of isomerized products to prevent excessive cracking caused by prolonged residence time.
